Nomeado em honra do grande Português explorador Vasco da Gama, Vasco da Gama classe é uma classe de fragatas do conceito MEKO 200 PN alemão. Eles são os grandes navios de superfície da Marinha do Português.

Named in honor of the great Portuguese explorer Vasco da Gama, the Vasco da Gama class is a class of frigates of the MEKO 200 PN German concept. They are the major surface ships of the Portuguese Navy.

Armament:
  • 1 100 mm Mod68 CADAM polyvalent artillery piece
  • 1 Phalanx CIWS 20 mm Vulcan anti-ship missile defence system
  • 2x3 12.75" Mk32 torpedo tubes in triple mountings
  • 2 Mk 141 quad-pack Launcher for a maximum of 8 RGM-84 Harpoon
  • 1 MK 21 Guided Missile Launching System for 8 RIM-7 Sea Sparrow

Firefox and IE : Wallpaper Stretching.

All these widescreen wallpapers are set for 16:10 and 16:9 Ratio monitors with resolutions of 1920 x 1200, 1920 x 1080, 1680x1050 1440x900 and 1280x800.

All Desktop Images / Photos are rendered by your browser and although Firefox is fantastic, it actually does not do a great job of saving desktop wallpaper, so...

Windows / PC : save the photo to your dekstop then set as wallpaper from there.

MAC OS : Unplug the MAC and put it into a box. Take the box to the nearest Garden centre and give it to the sales assistant. They will take out the MAC's hardware and use the rest as a decorative plant pot. Then you should by a PC.

Strangely enough, Internet Explorer renders the wallpaper beautifully in 'stretch' so I reccommend saving images using IE. :-)
