The Visby is the latest class of Stealth corvette to be adopted by the Swedish Navy.

The ship's design heavily emphasizes "low visibility" or stealth technology. The hull is constructed with a sandwich design consisting of a PVC core with a carbon fibre and vinyl laminate and its angular design reduces its radar signature

Its 57 mm cannon barrel can also be folded into the turret to further reduce its cross section.

I Visby är den senaste klassen av korvett som skall antas av den svenska marinen.

Fartygets konstruktion starkt betonar "dålig sikt" eller stealth-teknik. Skrovet är konstruerat med en sandwich konstruktion bestående av en PVC-kärna med kolfiber och vinyl laminat och dess vinkel design minskar sin radar signatur

Dess 57 mm kanon fat kan också fällas in i torn för att ytterligare minska dess tvärsnitt.
